Type
Small arms target.
Development
Designed as all-arms air defence target for use with small arms and machine guns. Also used as basic trainer for operators of the larger and faster Baaz (which see).
Airframe
Small, simple high-wing monoplane with GFRP fuselage and a polystyrene foam, epoxy laminated wing. Full span flaperons and elevator; no rudder. Current models have increased fin area and less tapered wings. No landing gear.

Guidance and control
Radio command (four-channel VHF transceiver). Transmitter power 9.6 V at 1.2 Ah; RF output 1 W. Receiver power 6 V at 1.2 Ah. Rechargeable battery. Ground support equipment consists of a box containing a 2.5 litre (0.66 US gallon; 0.55 Imp gallon) fuel container, electric engine starter, ammeter, 12 V battery to power equipment, and a selection of hand tools.
